Writer-composer-performer from the region of Montreal, Krÿstan falls within the alternative pop-rock tradition. Influenced by British rock and the gothic movement of the 1980s, he started his creative work with traditional rock orchestration (drums, bass guitar, guitar and singing), in which sound effects and atmospheric tracks were predominant. Inspired by classical music, Krÿstan later perfected his arrangement technique, composing, among others, instrumental pieces with several guitars. The resulting eclectic style is differentiated by the predominance of the electric guitars’ melodies.
